At One Love Sisters Ghana (OLS), we believe that access to quality healthcare is fundamental to healthy, resilient communities. Through our Cervical Cancer Screening Initiative, implemented with the generous support of ISDAO, we have strengthened access to essential preventive health services for underserved communities across Ghana.
Over a three-year period, OLS successfully facilitated cervical cancer screening for 1,554 individuals across all 16 regions of Ghana, contributing to improved awareness, early detection, and access to life-saving health services.
Beyond screening, the initiative promoted community education on cervical cancer prevention, the importance of routine health check-ups, and timely access to sexual and reproductive health services. By working closely with healthcare providers, community leaders, and local partners, we helped reduce barriers that often prevent people from accessing preventive healthcare.
This initiative reflects OLS's commitment to strengthening community health systems, promoting health equity, and ensuring that underserved populations have access to quality information, screening, referrals, and care.
We are proud of the progress achieved through this partnership and remain committed to expanding access to preventive healthcare, strengthening community wellbeing, and contributing to healthier communities across Ghana.
